17 WEEKS

Again, this post is coming a little late ... sorry!  Although I promise not to make my tardiness a habit.  We are wrapping up week 17 in our precious baby's life.  It has been a good week and I feel like little one is really starting to grow.  Still haven't felt any movement yet (although I thought I felt something in church on Sunday - looking back I think it may have just been a muscle spasm.)

The weeks just seem to be flying by ... I can't believe we are already in Thanksgiving week and it probably doesn't help that the temperatures are still in the mid to high 70's here.  Oh well, I am thankful that it is not warmer than that.

We were able to go to dinner with some of our closest friends on Saturday night in downtown Ft. Worth.  So glad Nick and Alicia are in town for a few days.  It is always nice to see our sweet friends!

We feel truly blessed every day that we wake up alive and well.  We know that we serve a Creator who loves us and has big plans for this little angel growing in my tummy.  We pray daily that the Lord will bless this pregnancy, the birthing process, the baby's life and our parenting abilities.
