Unfortunately it has been far too long since my last post; however, I am honestly going to try and do a better job of keeping the blog updated.
Well, I thought our third anniversary would be a good place to pick up after such an absence. On July 3rd we celebrated 3 years of marriage. I honestly cannot believe three wonderful years have already passed since our big day. Every step of the way has been blessed by God. We have absolutely had our ups and downs, but neither of us would change a single thing. The experiences we've had in marriage thus far have developed memories that we will cherish forever.
We celebrated by getting fancied up and going to dinner at Nicola's (a nice Italian restaurant in Plano.) It was nice to go somewhere with a romantic vibe to celebrate this accomplishment in our marriage. Afterwards, we kept to true Tyler & Nicole style by going to Cold Stone Creamery for ice cream and waffle cones.

Since our big "gift" is a trip to Paris in September, I decided to give Tyler a gift centered around travel. So, I got him a goodie basket with a travel pillow, a travel journal, two books related to World War II and a scratch off map of the U.S. (as you visit different states, you can scratch them off on the map to show where you've been.)
We had a great time and look forward to all the exciting years the Lord has in store for us!
