We've had a great week thus far! Between the wonderful showers and spending time with family, we couldn't feel more blessed. I had another appointment last Thursday - baby girl still has a good strong heartbeat and my weight gain is right on track! That's really all we covered in the appointment. Friday, my family (parents, both sisters and brother-in-law) all came in to town for my shower on Saturday. My sweet friends, Angela and Ericka through a shower for Tyler, Ellie and I. We had a great time and received so many gifts!
Cute details from the shower!
Sunday we all went to church, moved a pool table (I stood back and gave directions) and then Tyler had a hockey game that night. He, of course, played awesome and made his daughter proud by winning the championship game!! It was such a fun night with a lot of excitement.
Yay for the Guardians!
With all that excitement, we had a little (very minor) scare that Ellie might be entering the world. I won't provide all the lovely details, but the doctor assured me this was normal when you get closer to your due date. Tyler was amazing and stayed calm during this situation - he's going to do great when the big day comes. It was also nice to have my mom there for support, wisdom and advice - love that lady so much! This, however, encouraged me to go ahead and get a "hospital bag" packed.
Hospital Bag Contents:
1).Nursing Pajamas - 2).Receiving blanket - 3)."Going Home" outfit for Miss Thang - 4).Sweater/Robe - 5).Nursing Bras - 6).Change of clothes for Tyler - 7).Comfy shoes - 8).Blanket for Ellie
Also in bag, but not pictured:

Yesterday, Tyler's co-workers through him a surprise baby shower! They brought in his favorite lunch (Freebirds), had a cake, played games and gave him some amazing gifts!
Sweet gifts from STA travel!
Every day we feel so overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness, generosity and love shown to us during this amazing time! God has blessed us with amazing family, friends and co-workers. We give him all the glory and honor for the wonderful things we've been given, the love we've been shown and the amazing support systems we have. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this process. We are at 34 weeks and little girl has dropped! I've started feeling more pressure on my pelvis and noticed a few other things that show me we are getting close to the arrival of our daughter!! Yay!
